N2 - We report a 13-year-old girl with multiple cutaneous histiocytic lesions, precocious puberty, growth hormone deficiency and a hypothalamic tumour. We conclude that she has progressive nodular histiocytosis, but this case illustrates the difficulty in differentiating the type II histiocytoses.
