Abstract
A study of resonant structures in π΅+βπ·*+β’π·ββ’πΎ+ and π΅+βπ·*ββ’π·+β’πΎ+ decays is performed, using proton-proton collision data at center-of-mass energies of βπ =7, 8, and 13 TeV recorded by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9ββfbβ1. A simultaneous amplitude fit is performed to the two channels with contributions from resonances decaying to π·*ββ’π·+ and π·*+β’π·β states linked by πΆ parity. This procedure allows the πΆ parities of resonances in the π·*Β±β’π·β mass spectra to be determined. Four charmonium or charmoniumlike states are observed decaying into π·*Β±β’π·β: ππβ‘(3945), βπβ‘(4000), ππβ’1β‘(4010), and βπβ‘(4300), with quantum numbers π½πβ’πΆ equal to 0β+, 1+β, 1++, and 1+β, respectively. At least three of these states have not been observed previously. In addition, the existence of the
