Abstract

This article explores the relationship between an ideology of American exceptionalism and the country's response to the Coronavirus pandemic. In particular, it examines how a foreign policy based on maintaining primacy at all costs has seriously damaged the ability of U.S. citizens to identify solutions to political problems in the rest of the world.
