Abstract

In this paper we present a multistatic autofocussing approach, based on the optimization of the image contrasts in multiple received images. Other than monostatic algorithms, this method can not only estimate the range history of a target, but its full trajectory. Coherency of the received signal in different receivers is not required. The method is validated with experimental results.
