Abstract

A four-state model for multi-hop on-body communication at millimeter wave bands is proposed. A single repeater node is used to investigate the channel from belt to chest to head. Realistic system link thresholds are applied aiming to minimize transmit power and maximize battery lifetime for all the links studied. After thresholding, the joint probabilities of the two links under different movement scenarios are examined empirically.
