Abstract

The parabolic equation method (PEM) is employed to model plane wave transmission through an infinite periodic array of perfectly conducting cylinders. The PEM results agree well with those of the boundary-element method (BEM), while the memory and time requirements of the PEM are significantly lower than those of the BEM.
