Abstract

Melissa Grant and Rachel Sammons, from the School of
Dentistry, University of Birmingham, along with bioartist Anna
Dumitriu created a unique tooth grown using bacteria for the
Science Gallery London’s Mouthy season 2016. This will be on
display with ceramic teeth coated in glazes derived from various
bacterial species which are found in the mouth.
