Abstract
In spite of the fact of its potential relevance for future advanced metamaterial design, split rings resonators high-order resonances data are very limited in the literature. This article presents these co- and cross-polarization high-order resonances by means of numerical electromagnetic simulation and measurements in both monomode waveguides and free space propagation. A good agreement between simulation and experiments has been observed.
