Abstract

The paper presents a brief introduction to the theory of quantum (superfluid) turbulence in a simple superfluid (He-4 or He-3-B), with special reference to homogeneous, isotropic, grid turbulence at very low temperatures, where there is little or no normal fluid. The need for relevant and well-designed experiments at these low temperatures is emphasized, and a review of possible experimental techniques is included.
