Investigation of n-octadecane's crystallization by quasi-optical transmissometer

Abstract

A quasi-optical transmissometer driven by a vector network analyzer is used to investigate the crystallization of n-octadecane under different thermal processing. The observed spectra prove there is no weak intermolecular vibration modes present.
