N2 - The Incoherent Target Decomposition Theorem (ICTD) has been largely used when dealing with the problem of classifying distributed targets by using Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) images. In this paper, a method based on the use of the ICTD and the nearest neighbour classifier is proposed and applied to man made point-like targets in an ISAR-like scenario. The algorithm is tested by using real data in several Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) scenarios.
