Abstract

In this work, an outline of the seminal work done by Professor Mario Sorolla at the Universidad Pública de Navarra will be described. Different types of artificial electromagnetic media, from 1D to volumetric configuration, exploiting EBG/ET and Metamaterial phenomena, spanning from RF to THz frequency ranges will be presented.
