Abstract
In this paper we apply the machinery of *grounding* to articulate versions of grounding antiphysicalism. Our main focus is on ‘modest’ versions of that doctrine where phenomenal facts are fully and ultimately grounded, and at least some of the grounds are physical. We suggest that modest grounding antiphysicalism has some advantages over more radical versions of that doctrine, as well as over its non-grounding-theoretic analogues.
