Abstract

TC11 titanium alloy is widely used in aerospace. To obtain TC11 titanium alloy parts with 9 high quality and performance, this paper adopts the Laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) technique to 10 prepare TC11 alloy specimens and analyzes the effect of scanning strategy and forming angle on the 11 forming quality and performance of TC11 alloy in detail through a combination of theory and ex- 12 periment. The results show that the upper surface quality of the strip-scanned molded parts is the 13 best, and the upper surface quality is better than the side surface under different scanning strategies, 14 and the fusion channel lap and surface adhesion powder are the main reasons affecting the surface 15 roughness. With the increase of forming angle, the surface roughness of the overhanging surface 16 gradually decreases and the hardness gradually increases, and the surface quality and hardness of 17 the specimen are optimal when the forming angle is 90°. The research results provide the theoretical 18 basis and technical support for L-PBF forming of TC11 titanium alloy parts.
