Abstract
To provide a method of diagnostic screens for Alzheimer's disease based on screening for the presence of cellular changes that occur early in the pathology of Alzheimer's disease. ;SOLUTION: The method includes screening for the presence in the genome of a human subject of at least one mutation or allelic variant in a cell cycle regulatory gene, wherein the presence of a mutation or allelic variant in a cell cycle regulatory gene is taken as an indication of Alzheimer's disease
