N2 - The past year has seen major advances in the understanding of dendritic cell biology and of the costimulatory molecules that dendritic cells use to prime effector T cells and memory T cells. Recent work has revealed the specialization between different dendritic cell subsets and how this relates to their different functions in optimizing T-cell help for antibody responses and inflammatory T-cell responses.
