Dante Gabriel Rossetti en rapport con Dante

This article deals with a "curious incident" in the history of translation studies. In 1909, a translation scholar, William Guthrie, theorises the possibility of reconstructing a Source Text through translation only, without knowledge of the source text itself. He identifies in Dante Gabriel Rossetti's translation an example of this "magic" capacity.
