Community-led energy groups could help tackle fuel poverty

Research output: Other contribution

Abstract

Recent research has revealed that energy shops not only help people save money on their energy bills, but help them address fuel poverty. On a summer’s day it is not easy to imagine that each year over 2.35 million households in England live in fuel poverty, spending more than 10 per cent of their income to keep their homes adequately heated. For many it is a choice between eating or heating their homes.
