Abstract

In the title compound, (C10H10N2S2)2[Cu 2Cl6](BF4)2, the [Cu2Cl6]2- anions associate through weak Cu⋯Cl contacts to form polymeric [CuCl3]n-n chains. Hydrogen bonding between the chloride anions of these chains and the pyridinium protons, and between the pyridinium protons and the BF-4 anions, results in the formation of weakly associated ribbons.
