Abstract

In the title compound, (C₁₀H₁₀N₂S₂)₂[Cu ₂Cl₆](BF₄)₂, the [Cu₂Cl₆]^2- anions associate through weak Cu⋯Cl contacts to form polymeric [CuCl₃]^n-_n chains. Hydrogen bonding between the chloride anions of these chains and the pyridinium protons, and between the pyridinium protons and the BF^-₄ anions, results in the formation of weakly associated ribbons.
