title = "Antenna matching network using new class of non-Foster reactive elements",
abstract = "Small antennas are subject to gain-bandwidth limits when matched with passive matching networks. Non-Foster reactive elements have been proposed as a means to bypass those restrictions. However, these active non-Foster circuits are susceptible to instability when they are realised using the transistorised Negative Impedance Converters (NICs), due to the parasitic elements in the transistor models at higher frequencies, and limit the achievable top frequency. This paper develops the idea of a new class of non-Foster reactive elements based on negative group delay (NGD) networks, overcoming the stability problems of existing methods.",
