Abstract

The work addresses the problem of estimating the motion parameters of targets in ISAR imaging. This operation is typically performed by algorithms implementing exhaustive search, improved by classical convex optimization tool, of functionals based on image contrast or entropy. In this work we discuss the possibility to perform the ISAR parameter estimation via efficient autofocusing approaches typically used in direct SAR imaging.
