Abstract

Herein we describe a CuAAC “click” methodology for exo-functionalisation of Pd₂L₄ metallosupramolecular architectures. The potentially coordinating 1,2,3-triazole does not affect formation of the desired discrete complexes, nor does this external functional decoration affect the cisplatin-binding ability of the interior cavity of the assembly.
