Awarded £1749.46 by the BRIDGE partnership between Birmingham and the University of Illinois to travel to Urbana-Champaign for a scholarly exchange about Literature and Science. The eventual outcome of this has been two workshops, a plenary talk, and special issues of the leading American and British journals in the field.
