BIRMINGHAM TEACHING FELLOWSHIPS 2011-12 The University will be offering up to two fellowships of £5,000 each plus a permanent salary increment (for those not already at the top of their scale). The fellowships are designed to:
• recognise and celebrate individuals who make an outstanding impact on the student learning experience; • contribute to raising the profile of teaching at the University; • provide an opportunity for selected Fellows to undertake professional development activity or learning and teaching related projects; and • provide for the dissemination of good practice to academic and other staff across the University.
