Personal profile
Research interests
I am interested in exploring the interrelationship between cultural heritage and communities by evaluating the potential impact of cultural heritage on communities’ recognition of their identities and how communities engage with heritage in a bottom-up approach.
Biography
After graduating from University College London, I have actively engaged in cultural arts and museum work. My journey began with an internship at the Bond One Art Museum in Shanghai, where I was primarily responsible for exhibition interpretation.
Following this internship, I chose to join the Jiangning Imperial Silk Manufacturing Museum in Nanjing as a volunteer. I had the privilege of conducting two educational and outreach programmes. One of these activities, a class on traditional Chinese colours, has been featured on the official website of the Nanjing Museum Administration.
Currently, I am serving as an archive volunteer at the Lapworth Museum of Geology at the University of Birmingham. Here, my work involves organising and categorising historical archives and participating in the digitalisation of collections.
