Tom Clutton-Brock’s research interests include clinical and laboratory-based research into point-of-care testing, monitoring during cardiopulmonary bypass, respiratory control mechanisms and the management of severe respiratory failure. He is also a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Critical Care and an Associate Medical Director for Audit and Clinical Effectiveness at University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Professor Clutton-Brock has supervised a number of PhD and MD researchers. He is interested in supervising further research projects in the area of clinical measurement.
