I am a PhD student who is interested in understanding the emissions and atmospheric concentrations of ammonia (NH3) as well as how it is processed in the atmosphere to form PM2.5. NH3 is known to contribute to the formation of PM2.5, a key air pollutant which has a large number of adverse health effects. NH3 also directly has detrimental impacts on the environment, in particular upon sensitive ecosystems, where it can cause a loss of biodiversity.
To measure NH3 concentrations in the atmosphere I utilise high time resolution instruments alongside passive Adapted Low-cost Passive High Absorption (ALPHA) samplers.
I completed by BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science at the University of Birmingham in 2024.
Bachelor of Science, Environmental Science, The University of Birmingham
