Ruth Jada is a Doctoral Researcher in Accounting at the University of Birmingham. She has teaching experience in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
Her research focuses on financial accounting and reporting, particularly the interpretation and implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in practice. She is especially interested in the networks of actors, institutions, and regulatory frameworks that shape financial reporting outcomes.
Ruth's research has been supported by a grant from the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) Financial Accounting and Reporting Special Interest Group (FARSIG). She has presented her work at different conferences and engages with academics and practitioners on issues relating to financial reporting and accounting practices in different context.
