Rob Smith’s research interests span the following areas:
Disordered systems
Localisation
Level statistics
Mesoscopics and quantum chaos
Dirty superconductivity
Superconductor-insulator transition
Dr Smith is especially interested in how the properties of various conducting systems are affected by (ever-present) impurities and the repulsion between electrons due to their charge.
