Michael Rush

Before joining the department at Birmingham in 2015, I taught at the universities of Manchester, Liverpool, and Bolton, and for the Open University. My student years were all spent at the University of Manchester.

I have so far non-overlapping interests in ethics and in metaphysics. In ethics I’m interested in the nature, function, and expression of gratitude. In metaphysics I’m primarily interested in the nature of processes; I suspect there might be only one of them.
