Personal profile
Research interests
I am an applied health researcher with interests in clinical surgery. I have methodological experience including clinical studies, trials, qualtitative and mixed method approaches,PROM development, and consensus exercises.
My areas of clinical interest are:
Emergency surgery & perioperative care, encompassing gastrointestinal conditions. This includes nutrition and cardiovascular outcomes.
Inflammatory bowel disease, focussing on surgical aspects and how patient treatment preferences inform outcomes.
Benign proctology, with a focus on improving assessment and treatment of pilonidal disease and haemorrhoids.
