Biography

Juanita Bernal is a systems practitioner who has co-led and supported systems change projects in the public sector in both Colombia and the UK. She has a strong interest in supporting transformation processes in complex and dynamic environments through the use of multi-methodological approaches. Juanita serves as an Assistant Professor in Systems Thinking at Birmingham's Leadership Institute. Previously, she worked on systems approaches to address food insecurity in the UK and created the National Network for Equitable Justice in Colombia, a multisectoral project aimed at strengthening community justice in a post-conflict context.
