Biography

PhD title: Optimising engineered nanomaterials to maximise nutrient use efficiency and reduce agricultural pollution.

Using seed priming assays, soil and hydroponic studies in order to analyse the effects of a wide selection of nanomaterials on lettuce and wheat in different contexts. This is concurrent to analysis of volatile gas emissions from different systems under different nanomaterial treatments as compared to conventional fertiliser. MIBTP CASE PhD working with the Birmingham-based hydroponics company, Saturn Bioponics.
