I am a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Biomedical Sciences with keen interest in translational neuroscience, particularly in neurodegenerative and ageing diseases of the eye and brain. My current research investigates the mechanisms underpinning age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and brain injury. I am also highly interested in developing novel nanotherapies for improved efficacy and delivery within these disease contexts, with a determination for commercialisation opportunities, to provide better, more patient-friendly approaches to disease management.
