Jackson Kirkman-Brown and the ChRS team carry out internationally leading sperm and fertility-related research and welcome doctoral research applications in the following areas: Improving sperm selection as a method of improving reproductive outcomes - including the role of sperm in miscarriage events. Clinical trials related to sperm diagnostics and selection. How the human sperm interacts with the female reproductive tract, alongside research into how tract may respond to sperm presence. Fluid dynamics in the female reproductive tract and its diagnostic and therapeutic use, alongside Meurig Gallagher and David Smith. This involves various advanced imaging modalities available through our ongoing collaboration with Cairn Research and our FAST software.
