I am a soil scientist interested in regenerative and conservation agriculture. In particular, I study the Nitrogen cycle and emissions of greenhouse gases in these types of systems.
I work with the SARIC (Sustainable Agriculture Research and Innovation Club) and the UK National Trust. We monitor how soil fertility increases with the re-integration of leys and sheep into arable rotations.
As far as I can remember, I have always been passionate and curious about science. Quite naturally, I dedicated 6 years of my life studying the fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in France, my home country. After completion of my Master's degree in a French National Graduate School, I discovered the world of soil science and decided to pursue a PhD in Physical Geograhy.
I use my knowledge of science to understand and develop new methods to characterise soil dynamics.
