Gravitational wave source modelling. General relativity and black hole physics. Analytical and numerical relativity. Fundamental physics. Data analysis and Bayesian inference.  

Biography

Royal Society University Research Fellow and Assistant Professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Birmingham. Researching gravitational-wave science, source modelling, and the physics of black holes and neutron stars. Co-Chair of the Waveforms Working Group for the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, and a Co-Chair of the Waveforms Group in the Distributed Data Processing Centre for the European Space Agency LISA mission. Member of the Cosmic Explorer Consortium and the Einstein Telescope Scientific Collaboration.
