Fedor Berditchevski has research interests in integrins, tetraspan proteins and cell signalling. In particular, his group has undertaken intensive and successful breast cancer research within the School’s Endocrine Cancer research area. In collaboration with Chris Tselepis and Neil Hotchkin (Biosciences) he is also using a combination of biochemistry and cell biology to analysethe role of syntenin-1 in post-endocytic trafficking of frizzled receptors in breast cancer cells. Dr Berditchevski is interested in supervising doctoral research in these areas.
