Research interests

Dr. Diego Morris focusses his research on policy-relevant microeconomic issues related to innovation, energy, and climate change. His research has garnered international recognition, with numerous papers published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals, as well as contributions to book chapters, highlighting his expertise and contributions to the academic community. He has over 15 years of work experience having worked in economic research, teaching, management, and public policy formulation. Throughout his career, he has held key roles in five different universities and at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), a renowned international development institution. He holds a PhD and MRes in Economics from the University of Manchester, a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business and Financial Economics, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Statistics (double major) from the University of the West Indies.
