Biography
I am a PhD student based at the Institute for Mental Health at The University of Birmingham, working jointly with The University of Nottingham. I am funded by the Midlands Graduate School ESRC DTP on a Strategic Joint Studentship.
My research primarily focuses on investigating the Social determInants of youTh suicidE and self-harm in England (inSITE) through the use of mixed-methods. I am generally interested in the social, political, economic and environmental conditions that influence suicidal thoughts, behaviours and self-harm.
I am supervised by Dr Maria Michail, Dr Nicola Wright (University of Nottingham) and Dr Isabel Morales-Muñoz.
