Research data supporting the publication "Introducing Fluency Measures to the Elicited Imitation Task"

The data were collected as part of a larger project in which participants completed a series of language and cognitive tasks. The participants in this study were 40 Polish native speakers (L1) of English as a second/additional language (L2/LX), comprising 33 women and 7 men. All participants had moved to the UK after the age of 15 for purposes such as studying, working, or joining their families. Their length of residence in the UK ranged from 0.5 to 18 years. The written elicited imitation task was administered by a researcher in a laboratory setting, alongside a series of additional tests and questionnaires.
