Description
BIFoR FACE is a forest scale CO2 enrichment facility. The woodland contains mature Quercus robur, with Corylus avellana understorey, in a semi-natural setting. The experiment fumigates patches of woodland with CO2-enriched air to elevate ambient conditions to +150 ppm above ambient. This is a list of prominent dates/times when the CO2 fumigation system failed to achieve the operating targets and describes the likely or confirmed point cause.
