Activity: Academic and Industrial eventsConference, workshop or symposium

Description

Topic: Moving Towards Equivalent Survey Data Collection Procedures in IB research Following a number of earlier studies on the significance of data equivalence in IB research (Brislin, 1970; Green & White, 1976; Sekaran, 1983), this presentation discussed methodological trends in relation to the survey data in Journal of International Business over the last 50 years (Chidlow et al 2014; Chidlow et al., 2015; Harkness, et al., 2010). In doing so, the talk uncovered and unpacked the issue of equivalence in survey data (Cavusgil, & Das, 1997; Hult et al., 2008; Chidlow et al., 2014), discussed its relevance, challenges and opportunities for IB scholarship.
