Invited talk by Two Temple Place to coincide with its exhibition ‘Lives Less Ordinary: Working-Class Britain Re-seen’, 25th January 2025 – 20th April 2025, https://twotempleplace.org/exhibitions/lives-less-ordinary/Two Temple Place was crafted by highly skilled, but largely unrecorded, working-class artists and makers. In this talk, I consider what we know of their contributions to Two Temple Place’s interior decoration, and how we might make more visible the traces of these individuals in the building today.
