This talk introduces our Phronesis project, a three phase study investigating the relationships between moral identity, moral emotions and moral reasoning and their ability to motivate moral behaviour in adolescents. This talk will describe the development of a novel multicomponent measure of phronesis and discuss the role of wise decision making in character education.
