Theme and Purpose
RRBM's Half-Day session is structured around the theme “Responsible Research in Context: Where Credibility and Relevance Drive Positive Change.” The programme responds to the 2026 RME Week theme — “Counting on Collective Values” — by demonstrating that responsible research is not a solitary act but depends on shared commitments across individuals, disciplines, and institutions.

The session addresses a moment of transition in the global higher education landscape: students demand purpose-driven education; societies face complex, interlocking crises; and business schools are under increasing pressure to justify their value proposition as both knowledge producers and knowledge legitimisers. RRBM's seven guiding principles — centred on societal relevance, methodological rigour, stakeholder engagement, and broad dissemination — frame all three panels.
