Description
The workshop emerged as a response to a growing regional interest in healthcommunication and social marketing. This was based on the instructor’s experience in delivering such workshops and teaching social marketing in Lebanon and other parts of the Middle East.
The workshop’s primary goal was to introduce the social marketing framework while
promoting the MPH programme at UOBD among public health and healthcare
professionals working with local and international NGOs, the United Nations and
governmental agencies based in the United Arab Emirates (further referred to as
“external participants” or primary target audience).
