Professional Development Symposium for Teacher Educators: Character, Ethics and the Professional Development of pre-service teachers (Secondary)

Description

The symposium focused on the professional development of pre-service teachers and followed the theory and practice of how character is caught, taught, and sought in schools (outlined in the Jubilee Centre’s A Framework for Character Education in Schools). It aimed to facilitate discussion and the advancement of character education in university-led teacher education and provided suggestions of how to adapt training to align with recommendations from our research and the Department for Education.
