Description
Annie Mahtani presents a programme of multichannel acousmatic works exploring the juxtaposition of real, abstract and surreal soundworlds, diffused live on City’s surround sound system. Mahtani’s work explores space, time, and place and exposes the inherent identities in environmental sounds by amplifying characteristics that are not normally audible to the naked ear.Programme to include Racines tordues (2019), Aeolian (2016) and Past Links (2008) plus works by Emma Margetson and Niketa Sheth
