Description
This participatory leadership workshop brought together emerging leaders from Alternative Learning Centres (ALCs), Teach for Malaysia and other stakeholders to articulate future-oriented visions of inclusive education and to connect these visions to present-day leadership decisions.
The workshop was informed by University of Birmingham research on inclusive pedagogy, teacher agency, and reparative futures in education. Participants engaged in futures mapping, ethical deliberation, and backcasting activities to identify advocacy priorities, partnership strategies, and capacity-building actions.
Outputs from the workshop informed subsequent programme design, the focus of later research interviews, and the development of a formal analytical codebook used in the next phase of the project.
